Gestalt Community Schools is proud to present the 2nd Annual Let’s Move Memphis 5K Run/Walk!
It is GCS’ privilege to launch the 2nd Annual Let’s Move Memphis movement. Despite the statistics of growing obesity among our youth and overall declining health among many citizens in the Memphis area, we believe we can turn this trend around by taking action.
The Let’s Move Memphis 5K Run/Walk raises money and awareness for a Healthy Living Education & Engagement Program (Healthy LEEP) for Gestalt Community Schools. Last year’s proceeds were used to develop a community garden, refine its health curriculum, and raise awareness about healthy living. Proceeds will continue to support expansion of the Healthy LEEP across GCS’s network of schools and communities.
